How Does NeuroStar TMS Therapy Work?
During each session, a magnetic coil is gently placed on your head, targeting areas of the brain responsible for mood regulation. These pulses stimulate nerve cells, which may positively impact neurotransmitter levels, improving symptoms of depression and anxiety. Sessions typically last between 19-37 minutes and are conducted 5 days a week for 4-6 weeks. Patients can resume normal activities immediately after each session.
