Double Board Certified
Meet Stephanie Cabrera, DNP, PMHNP-BC:

As a Miami native with over a decade of healthcare experience, I bring both clinical expertise and heartfelt compassion to psychiatric care. After earning my double major in Business and Nursing from FIU, I spent years in critical care settings including ICU and cardiac units before obtaining my MSN from Chamberlain University in 2018. My frontline work during COVID-19 revealed the urgent need for accessible mental health services, inspiring me to specialize in psychiatry through advanced training at Maryville University.
As a double board-certified Nurse Practitioner (AANP and ANCC), I've served diverse populations at leading South Florida institutions including Holy Cross, Aventura, and Mercy Hospitals. My practice combines evidence-based psychiatric medicine with a whole-person approach, recognizing that true wellness encompasses mind, body, and spirit. When I'm not caring for patients, you'll find me cheering at my son's baseball games or enjoying time with my husband Danny and daughter Aady – experiences that remind me daily of the importance of mental well-being in building fulfilling lives.
